Join us on morning of 6th December (time to be confirmed in September) and take a dip in the lake followed by a Sauna, a great way to start of your festive season.

Your ticket cost will help us to support people with aplastic anaemia and includes:

  • A Santa Hat to wear into the sea
  • Festive treats

We'll be dipping at Embers Sauna, on the outskirts of Cromhall in South Gloucestershire, just a 25-minute drive from central Bristol.

Secure your spot - £15

Places are limited, so we ask that you reserve your spot in advance. If you can no longer attend, please let us know and we can give your place to someone else.

We ask for a £10 deposit when booking and please bring £5 cash with you on the day. Your £5 cash will then be added to our Big Give Christmas Appeal and it will be doubled!

Registration meet other Santas! We'll have a group photo before running into the Lake together and then we'll warm up in the Sauna. We'll have the Sauna for an hour so there will be opportunities for double dips if people want to.

Drinks will be provided after.

Hints and tips to make the dip safe and successful;

  • The water will be cold, so if you're not used to open water swimming, don't jump in, instead go in slowly allowing your body to adjust to the temperature of the water.
  • When you are in the water remember to breathe. Try breathing in for 5 and out for 5.
  • Don't spend too long in the water
  • After you leave the water it's best to get changed into warm clothes that are easy to put on, such as joggers or pyjamas. Bring a dressing gown.
  • When you're out of the water, get your arms and upper body warm first
