Ellie Dawes, Deputy CEO and Head of Fundraising and Comms

Ellie has worked for The Aplastic Anaemia Trust since 2020, leading on Fundraising and Communications. In 2025, she was made Deputy CEO.

Ellie previously worked as Digital Engagement Manager at Blood Cancer UK, before spending five years in the world of international development, running comms and fundraising as part of the senior team at Child.org.

Anti-microbial drugs that you may receive include antibiotics, anti-viral and antifungal drugs. They prevent and treat infections (infections which can be more dangerous for people with aplastic anaemia.)
