This planner was designed to help people living with aplastic anaemia, PNH, or another rare bone marrow condition to feel a little less overwhelmed.
The sections are designed to help you keep track of things, answer questions from different doctors, and feel in control. It has been designed by The Aplastic Anaemia Trust’s panel of adult patients (but parents and young people can use it too!) And you’ll find tips and comments from patients among the pages.
Pages include:
- Lists of key clinical contacts, to remember who all your doctors are
- Pages to keep track of what vaccinations you have had and what medication you are on
- Pages to help you plan for appointments
- A symptoms and side effects tracker
- Tracker pages for blood test results, transfusions and blood pressure
- Feelings Tracker pages, to help you journal and make sense of your feelings
- Post-ATG monitoring tracker - for people receiving ATG treatment
- A list of questions you might like to ask your healthcare team
